- 4- firefox's engine is worse, but if you ignore what task manager says its pretty dam close. You will need to use ff eventually if you want the internet to be usable in the future, chrome 109 is living on borrowed time 12:23 PM Jan 21st
- -2 It can run pretty smoothly on 1gb ram so its core engine doesnt need heaps of ram, its better for a browser to seemingly use "more" ram in order to avoid having to slow down due to pulling data from the hdd -3 12:20 PM Jan 21st
- @VMWaredSinister Ram management is more nuanced than more used in task manager = more bad, ff's engine may just cache more than chromes. It can certainly give up the ram when you need it to -1 12:17 PM Jan 21st
- @Deathcat347 Yeap, I'm one of the 7 azumanga fans that have watched azumanga daioh! Saving the very short movie for a special occasion tho cuz they're not making any more azumanga :( 07:47 AM Jan 21st
- azumanga daioh 03:28 AM Jan 21st
- Stock firefox sucks. Waterfox is much better, I'm using waterfox w some tweaks on my 1gb ram 1 core netbook rn, it runs every website I need fine! + It'll get updates and not end up like once big now useless chrome 52 10:59 PM Jan 20th
- @VMWaredSinister Didn't know chrome went thru manifest V3 already, yes firefox sucks but you arent forced to stick to an aging fork of a browser that scrapes your data just to use a good adblock 10:54 PM Jan 20th
- @VMWaredSinister Wait, are u saying ublock origin doesn't work on newer versions of chrome? If that's the case then why on earth would anyone stick with a browser like that? 11:01 PM Jan 19th
- Also, if you're on the computer please install an adblocker. Installing ublock origin takes 30 seconds but makes the internet infinitely better 12:02 PM Jan 19th
